Pakistan Railways has announced 50 percent special discount on fares during first and second day of Eidul fitr. The tickets would be sold from the first day of Eid, it was learnt on Monday. A special discount aimed to facilitate the thousands of commuters across the country celebrating Eidul Fitr with their family members, said a railway official, here.
While talking to Business Recorder some of passengers at Karachi Cantt station on Monday evening said, the offer would have been given a week before the day of Eid by Railway department, so that thousands of passengers would have availed this facility, but on the day of Eid there will be a least number of passengers, who may go to their home towns for celebrating Eid with their near and dears.
