Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif rewarded the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) staff with one week salary for their outstanding performance throughout the Eid. Chairman LWMC Kh. Ahmed Hassan made this announcement on Friday. He said the LWMC staff served the citizens of Lahore with commitment.
It may be noted that the LWMC staff ensured cleanliness throughout three days of Eid, making a difference in the situation on ground. The temporary filth depots installed outside residential areas, besides the moveable trolleys, were emptied by the LWMC staff without delay. Resultantly, the residents of different localities were also very happy with their pace of work and kept on offering them food one after another. The LWMC spokesman said the residents of different localities kept on calling the LWMC staff throughout the Eid and each call was responded with equal responsibility.
