At least five persons sustained injuries after an explosion in Doaba area here on Wednesday. According to the police sources, some unidentified miscreants planted an explosive device on the road which went off with a big bang, injuring five people. Police said it was a remote controlled bomb blast. The injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters hospital for treatment. Police and others law enforcement agencies cordoned off the entire area and started search operation for hunting the culprits.
