Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD) will launch a strong awareness campaign against dengue across the province during next two weeks because of weather conditions prevailing during these days are consider very conducive to dengue mosquito. PAD will be seen as vanguard in the movement launched by the provincial government against this disease and "Anti Dengue Day" will also observe on November 3.
These views were expressed by the Punjab Minister for Agriculture Dr Farrukh Javed while chairing a departmental meeting with regard to dengue day. The meeting was also attended by the MPA Saqib Khurshid, Director General (Agriculture Extension) Dr Anjum Ali and other officers concerned.
