Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC) Justice Maqbool Baqar on Friday ordered transfer of Wali Khan Babar murder case from Karachi to Kandhkot. The Chief Justice under an Executive Order transferred the case to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Kandhkot on the request of Sindh Government. The case transfer application was moved by the Advocate General, Sindh, Khalid Javed Khan on behalf of the Sindh Government.
ATC Kandhkot will resume the trial of the case on November 12. Wali Khan Babar, reporter of a private news channel was shot dead in Liaquatabad here on January 13, 2011.
