During the campaign to curb power pilferage, Pesco Surveillance Wapda House checking teams in collaboration with Police Station Peshawar nabbed 11 more persons involved in power theft. Pesco Special Magistrate sent the arrested accused to Central Jail Peshawar on judicial remand.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of Pesco has said that drive against illegal use of electricity will continue and has once again warned electricity stealers to stop power pilferage in the larger interest of the nation. He said that power pilferage was inflicting huge financial and line losses on one hand while on the other it was overloading the power distribution system, forcing the general public to bear frequent power break downs.
