Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, the holy Kaaba on Monday on behalf of the custodian of the two holy mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz-Al-Saud washed Kaaba by Zamzam water mixed with rose water. The Prince was received upon his arrival at the Grand Holy Mosque by President General of the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Holy Mosque Sheikh Dr Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais.
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and members of the Islamic diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
