The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Thursday sought extension in date for submission of sales tax returns. LCCI Vice President Kashif Anwar in a statement said the last date for submission of sales tax returns was November 20, but since the FBR portal was not working in the last two days, therefore an extension in the date for submission of returns would enable the taxpayers to submit their returns.
