Prime Minister's Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will visit Iran on Tuesday (tomorrow). Aziz will participate in the 21st meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers. The meeting will focus on co-operation among the ECO member states in transport, trade, energy, environment and agriculture covering the period 2012-2013. The Meeting will take substantial decisions on the new initiatives and activities reflected in the Work Programme planned for 2013-14.
Tehran Communiqué, encompassing vision and guidance for the organisation, will be issued at the end of the COM Meeting. Sartaz Aziz will also meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and other leadership and exchange views on bilateral relations.
