The Punjab Government on Monday approved two development schemes of public sector buildings and roads sector with an estimated cost of Rs844.877 million.
These schemes were approved in the 19th meeting of provincial development working party of current fiscal year 2013-14 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, Provincial Secretary P&D Arif Anwar Baloch, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
Spokesman P&D Department said the approved development schemes included:
(a) Construction of District Jail Pakpattan at the cost of Rs 356.396 million and
(b) Construction of Metalled Road from Bahawalpur-Hasilpur road at km No 14 to Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park at Lal Sohnara via Chak No 5/BC (length:10.90 km) (2nd Revised) District Bahawalpur at the cost of Rs488.481 million.
