NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling was unchanged against the dollar on Tuesday and was forecast to gain ground, helped by inflows from diaspora remittances, traders said.
At 0947 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 100.25/45, the same as Monday's close.
Remittance inflows to Kenya increased to $222.2 million in March from $210.4 million in February, and compared with $142.7 million in March 2017, latest central bank data showed.
