The body of martyred Major Jahanzaib Irfan (31) of Frontier Region (FR) reached Wednesday's morning in Multan by a special plane. He was martyred in a terrorist attack outside Peshawar. According to the ISPR, Major Jahanzaib was martyred when terrorists attacked a security forces vehicle on Tuesday. His burial will be held on Thursday after reaching his brother who is coming from Australia.
He left three children and a widow behind him. Colonel Muhammad Noor (retd), while expressing his view on the martyrdom of his son, said "I am proud of him as he laid down his life for the country and nation."
