All CNG stations would remain closed in Sindh, including Karachi, from Monday morning to Tuesday morning, said Chairman, All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA-Sindh), Shabbir Sulemanjee. In an announcement on Sunday, he has warned that CNG stations found operative during this period will have their gas supply disconnected.
APCNGA Chief for Sindh attributed gas load management to decreased availability of the gas due to higher off-take resulting in depletion of line pack and low pressure in the system.
Owners of CNG stations have also been advised that, as a practice, they should not fill CNG in such vehicles, where safety of installation of CNG cylinders is not ensured.
