One of the counsel for former President General Pervez Musharraf (Retd), Ahmed Raza Kasuri, said on Monday that Musharraf could not appear in a special court in a situation where courts were attacked freely by terrorists in the federal capital. Talking to media persons, Kasuri said nothing was safe if the courts were attacked. He said in these circumstances "Musharraf can't appear in the special court."
Kasuri said Musharraf's legal team would convince the special court that the country's courts were not safe and it would be extremely dangerous to present Musharraf in the court. He said since the Taliban had denied involvement in the Islamabad Kutcheri blast, the forces involved in Monday's court attack should be unmasked.
