President Mamnoon Hussain said Pakistan was keen to further strengthen friendly and mutually beneficial relations with the Republic of Kosovo at all levels including political, economic, commercial, cultural and educational fields.
He said "being two democracies, our parliamentary institutions could also play a facilitative role in forging partnerships and brining the people of Pakistan and Kosovo closer to each other and urged for exchange of Parliamentarians, youth and students to enhance people to people contacts." The President said this while speaking to Enver Hoxhaj, Foreign Minister of Republic of Kosovo, during meeting here on Monday. The President said Pakistan valued its ties with Kosovo and expressed hope that visit of the Foreign Minister would pave way for further strengthening relations between the two countries.
He stated that Pakistan fully supported the ongoing regional efforts for peace and stability in the Balkan region and expressed hope that Kosovo and Serbia through dialogues and discussions would peacefully address the outstanding issues between the two countries.-PR
