At least two persons were killed in separate incidents of violence in the city, here on Tuesday. According to police and rescue sources, Arif, 25, son of Sharif, was shot and killed by unidentified gunman near Farooq School in Manzoor Colony in the limits of Mehmoodabad police station.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities. The deceased was student of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST). He was from Skardu city, Gilgit-Baltistan. In another incident, one, Muhammad Hanif, 45, son of Jan Khan, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Baldia, Sector-12. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for legal formalities.
