An MoU has been inked between Wah Nobel Group of Companies and Gezhouba Explosives Co Ltd, China to set-up an Explosives Factory through a joint venture for mining, energy engineering, infrastructure construction and urban control blasting.
Kawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Defence and Water and Power was the Chief Guest of the Ceremony. Rana Tanvir Hussain, Federal Minister for Defence Production and Federal Secretary for Ministry of Defence Production were also present on this occasion.
Through the joint venture future requirements of commercial explosives required for the mega infrastructure project being initiated by present government will be met. The company will introduce the new technology for production of latest commercial explosives and mobile manufacturing unit technology for bulk emulsion explosives in hydropower engineering.
