Grain prices moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Monday in process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 lost Rs 100 to Rs 4700, grams Australia dall No 2, however, was up by Rs 100 to Rs 5500, grams 50x50 shed the same amount to Rs 4700, grams 50x50 dall picked up same amount to Rs 5500, yellow peas Russia lost Rs 100 to Rs 4600 and yellow peas Russia dall also fell by Rs 100 to Rs 5100, they said.
On the cereals side, Urad Burma gained Rs 125 to Rs 8250, wheat new Bardan quoted at Rs 3200-3225 and gur low type was down by Rs 200 to Rs 4800 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 5000, they said. On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh low type was lower by Rs 15 to Rs 3325, while the best quality was inert at Rs 3400, they said. On the seed side, cotton seeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) low type dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 1400 and the best variety was down by Rs 90 to Rs 1500, they said.
