Samsung openly slams Apple in its latest ad yet again
Apple vs Samsung ad battle has started yet again as Samsung recently released a new ad in which it has shamelessly mocked Apple with its battery issues and its notch.
Months ago, Apple’s battery controversy made headlines and now, rival Samsung is taking full advantage by slamming it in its latest minute-long ad titled 'Moving On'. The ad takes a dig at Apple’s decision to throttle batteries of older iPhones.

The ad’s message is similar to its older ones, upgrade to Samsung; this time it’s Galaxy S9. Ad starts with an iPhone 6 user that is to show her boarding pass but, her phone is too slow whereas, another Galaxy S9 user does in within the blink of an eye. While on the plane, iPhone users’ TV app takes longer to load whereas, Galaxy S9 user is enjoying it on his phone already. Then there is also an Uber car mix-up.
While on her way, the girl sees an Apple Store and goes there for help where she complains about the phone’s slow performance. The employee tells her to disable the performance management option for restoring fast performance, but it will lead to her smartphone randomly powering down. He also gives her another option of upgrading the phone. Making fun of Apple’s notch design, the girl also sees a man and his child both with a ‘notch’ hair style.
The ad ends in the iPhone user upgrading to the Galaxy S9. During the ad the user also gets a text message from her mom asking if she has upgraded her phone or not. After upgrading, she replies back that she got the upgrade.
Though the ad is compelling, it has been criticized too as Samsung has compared its latest Galaxy S9 to Apple’s four years older iPhone 6 when Apple has released its improved and upgraded phones now.
