The Lahore High Court taking notice against acidic attack on a female lecturer directed District and Sessions Judge, Lahore, to look into the matter and submit a detailed report within a week. According to the details, three men, riding two motorcycles, threw acid on a female lecturer of University of Management and Technology (UMT).
Unidentified men threw a polythene bag filled with concentrated acid at her when she was entering in her house. Twenty percent of her face and eyes had been affected. Police said that father of the victim submitted a complaint with the Sattukatla police but did not name any suspect.
