On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) the value traded was PKR 2,140 million. The numbers of lots traded were 10,911 and PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,984. Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 1,408 million, followed by gold (PKR 663 million) and silver (PKR 68 million). There was 24 percent increase in crude oil volume to PKR 1,408 million from PKR 1,136 million.
