A woman was killed while two persons were injured in different violence incidents here on Thursday. According to police and rescue sources, Sumera, 20, was killed after in an alleged clash with family members in Lyari Nayabad colony in the jurisdiction of Bagdadi police station.
Police said she was critically tortured by one of her family members. She was rushed to Civil Hospital for treatment but the doctors pronounced her as dead. Badshah, 45, son of Wazir Khan, and Shah Husain, 40, son of Shah Wazir Khan were shot and injured by unknown persons near Dawood junction in Landhi Town. The injured were rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.
