A delegation led by Country Director of a Scottish NGO, CEMVO, Colin Lee met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and matters regarding promotion of co-operation in education, health and other social sectors were discussed. Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Minister for Minorities Affairs Khalil Tahir Sindhu, concerned secretaries and officers were present on the occasion, disclosed an official here on Friday.
Talking to the delegation, the Chief Minister said there are strong friendly relations between Scotland and Pakistan and a large number of Pakistanis are living in Scotland. He also said Scottish co-operation in health, education and skills' development sectors will be welcomed. Country Director CEMVO Colin Lee said his NGO wants to work with the Punjab government in education, health and other social sectors.
