One person was killed while two others were injured in different incidents of violence here on Tuesday. According to police and rescue sources, Hassan Mehdi, 45, son of Syed Mehdi was shot and killed by unidentified motorcyclists in Korangi No-3/5 in the jurisdiction of Awami Colony police station.
The deceased was on the way to his home by a vehicle, in the meantime, two unknown armed motorcyclists intercepted it, and opened indiscriminate fire on him, and managed to flee from the scene. Resultantly he succumbed to his injuries. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico legal formalities. Noman, 30, was shot and injured by unidentified person in Lyari Musa Line. He was rushed to Civil Hospital (CH) for medical assistance. Shair Zaman, 45, son of Gull Zaman was injured by unknown gunman in Nazimabad Gol Market. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.
