City police on Thursday claimed to have arrested around 115 alleged criminals in different targeted raids and encounters during last 24 hours. According to police, they have conducted some 76 targeted raids and five encounters in ongoing operations in the city that led the arrest of 115 alleged criminals involved in different criminal activities.
During the operations, police arrested some 22 alleged criminals under Arms Act. Twenty six were arrested under Narcotics Act, 25 absconders, three dacoits, three terrorists, two proclaimed offenders, one murderer, and some 34 others involved in criminal activities were also arrested during the said time period.
