Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui has said that K-Electric has ensured that no loadshedding would occur on the eve of Shab-e-Barat to facilitate faithful to offer prayers with religious fervour. Siddiqui said this while presiding over a meeting with KE officials. Additional Commissioner Karachi Muhammed Aslam Khoso, Assistant Commissioner Shahzaib Hassan and other officers concerned were also present on the occasion.
The Commissioner Karachi welcomed the decision taken by KE to exempt loadshedding on Shab-e-Barat and said that KE should take concrete measures to ensure power supply to mosques, graveyards and other praying places on the occasion.
