Commander Southern Command, Lieutenant General Nasser Khan Janjua has said that Army was successfully moving forward to purge the Waziristan from terrorists. Addressing at the passing out parade of the Police personnel, completed under the supervision of Pak Army here, he said government and public fully supported military operation against those killing innocent civilians.
"Exploitation on the name of religion has caused martyrdom of over fifty thousands people including security forces personnel in Pakistan," he added. Lauding the services of Balochistan police for maintaining peace in Balochistan he hoped they would continue with the same spirit.
Janjua deplored that coward enemy of Pakistan was using money as tool to attract and derail the youth of the country for their vested interest. He praised that cadets who spent eight weeks with Pakistan Army showed that they possessed best character and are bestowed with the gift of ethics and moralities. "Incumbent government was sincerely moving forward to restore peace and bring the outlaws to justice," General Janjua commending the incumbent government said.
Earlier, he distributed prizes for distinction among the police jawans. As many as 100 police personnel undertook training in Cantt. Home Secretary Balochistan Akbar Hussain Durrani, Major General Samrez Salik, Inspector General of Balochistan Police, Mohammad Amlish, RPO Sardar Durrani and other civil and military leadership attended the ceremony.
