Encroachments on Sohrab Goth, LEW, and FB Area removed

The anti-encroachment cell of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation carried out an operation from Sohrab Goth to Lyari Expressway and F.B. Area's Industrial area to improve traffic flow on the roads. The action was taken on the directive of Administrator Karachi Rauf Akhtar Farooqui to remove the encroachment.
Under the operation, illegal stalls, tea and Paan cabins, pushcarts, sugarcane machines and other encroachments were removed from the roads. The pushcarts and other encroachments under the Sohrab Goth Bridge were also cleared.
The operation was led by Director Anti-Encroachments Mazhar Khan. Deputy Commissioner Central Dr Saifur Rehman, Assistant Commissioner Sumera Hussain, DSP Amin-ur-Rehman, SHO F.B. Area Javed Yousufzai, and heavy contingent of police and Rangers were present.
