Recruitments in Aziz Bibi Hospital: Ombudsman takes suo motu notice

Ombudsman Punjab, Javed Mahmood has taken suo motu notice of making recruitments of Aziz Bibi Hospital, Roshan Bheela, Kasur without any qualification criteria and issued notice to all members of District Recruitment Committee including DCO Kasur and EDO Health Kasur directing to submit justification about the recruitment made, with in one week.
Ombudsman Punjab has also constituted a two member committee, comprising Advisor Rana Amanullah Khan and Director General Monitoring Colonel Professor Zafar Mahmood Khawar (Retd) to probe the matter. Notice issued points out that Ombudsman Punjab took serious note of various complaints about flouting the merit policy of the government during recruitment process of the staff for Aziz Bibi Hospital Roshan Bheela and directed Secretary Health, DCO Kasur and EDO Kasur to observe the merit strictly.
