On the direction of IG NH&MP Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema, N5 Central Zone Sector-I (CZSI) adopts zero tolerance policy against lane violations by HTVS & PSVs, not fastening seat belt, overloading of passengers in PSVs, not using safety helmet by motorcyclist. Sector Commander/SSP Muhammed Inkasar Khan passed these remarks while chairing a meeting of Operational Officers at Sector Office. The beat commanders and Admin officers were also present on the occasion.
Sector Commander/SSP Muhammed Inkasar Khan asked the officers to meet the targets and bring maximum improvements within two weeks. The officers were directed to distribute Iftar packets along with sweet water among road users at the time of Iftar. Sector Commander also directed to depute best officers with good communication skills at toll plazas for briefings. The officers were also asked to use hooters and public address system frequently. SSP Inkasar Khan further asked the beat commanders to devise strategy to reduce the increasing over speeding trend at Iftar time.
