The police have arrested three accused involved in embezzlement of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) money and recovered Benazir cards, Watan cards and vouchers from their possession. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police, Javed Odho said that on complaints of masses three agents allegedly involved in looting BISP money in assistance of private bank staffers were arrested.
He said that the fraudulent had deprived dozen of simple people of BISP money. The police recovered 37 Watan cards, seven Benazir cards and 84 bank vouchers from the possession of detained culprits. Police have registered a case against the detainees and they were being interrogated.
