PU passes resolution against Israeli atrocities

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamranon on Tuesday presided over a meeting of all heads of departments in which deans, principals, directors and chairpersons of various institutions and administrative officers participated. The meeting passed a unanimous resolution against Israel's barbaric attack on innocent Palestinians and condemned the brutalities of Israeli army.
The participants called upon Islamic countries to play their role in stopping Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians and especially urged the Pakistan government to strengthen Pakistan militarily and technologically. The meeting was also informed about various measures taken to help IDPs. The meeting also reviewed security arrangements of Punjab University and heads of institutions were directed to adopt standard operating procedures to deal with any emergency and install fire extinguishers at sensitive places.
