Ambassador Javed Malik said that providing relief to the common man remains paramount in Prime Minister's vision for a prosperous Pakistan and in addition to creating employment opportunities, the government is also encouraging the a culture of entrepreneurship among the youth of the country by providing SME loans designed to enable them to become financially self-reliant.

Paying tribute to positive civil military relations, Ambassador Javed Malik said that the political government and armed forces are working in co-ordination in the national interest and at a time when our brave soldiers are engaged in war for Pakistan's sovereignty we must all unite as one nation and set aside our differences. He further added that "the need of the hour is to remain united, and this is not the time for rallies and protests. Any rally or protest that aims to destroy national unity is not in the interest of Pakistan, and those who indulge in such destructive behaviour are doing dis-service to the country. They would be better advised to leave their politicking for later as at this time our political and military leadership requires total unity of purpose in the national interest.
