Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage (IB&NH) Pervaiz Rashid has alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan wanted to topple the democratically-elected government and it was his real agenda instead of bringing reforms in the electoral system.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Pervaiz Rashid blamed that the PTI chief wanted to topple the democratic government instead of bringing electoral reforms. He accused the PTI Chief of wanting to get the assemblies of four provinces dissolved and then lodge himself at the helms of country's affairs.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Birjees Tahir said Imran Khan till date has failed to reach any decision on the alleged rigging in the intra-party elections of the PTI. "The election commissioner of the PTI is sitting silently on rigging in the party elections," he alleged. State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher said Imran Khan was willing to hold negotiations with the murderers of 50,000 Pakistanis but he was not ready to engage in dialogue with the democratic and constitutional government of Pakistan.
