Model Town incident: Gullu Butt, 5 cops produced before court

As many as six accused of the Model Town firing incident including Gullu Butt and five policemen were produced in court on Saturday. Gullu Butt, a central character of the incident, who was seen smashing windscreens of parked cars and offering looted soft drinks to policemen in television footage, was produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court after end of his 14-day judicial remand.
Accused SHO of Sabzazar police station, Amir Saleem, ASI Hafiz Azhar and three police constables were also presented in the court. ATC court had granted seven days physical remand of the accused policemen. Stringent security measures were taken during the court hearing of the Model Town firing case.
