He was no revisionist because he pursued his professional objectives with a firm resolve without seeking to provide a justification for a retreat from a position that he held till his death. Yes, Majid Sahib will be missed as an upright editor who always wrote and said the right thing under the most trying circumstances. No doubt, his death is a profound loss.
