At least four people including a woman were killed in separate incidents of violence, here on Wednesday. According to police and rescue sources, two persons Taufeeq and Arif were shot and killed by unknown persons near Garden police station. SHO Imdad Ali Khwaja said that the incident took place in the evening, when two unidentified bike riders opened fire on them and managed to flee from the crime scene leaving the Taufeeq and Arif fatally injured, they were rushed to Civil Hospital (SH) for treatment, however they succumbed to their injuries due to massive bleeding while being treated.
The deceased were contractors by their profession. Fehmida, 55, wife of Sohrab Khan was stabbed to death by unknown assailant in Modal Colony in Malir. Muhammad Sajjad son of Muhammad Mateen was shot and killed by unknown persons in Kati Pahari, North Nazimabad. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem examinations.
