Rs 2,500 scholarships for female students from Class VI to Matric.
-- Provision of Rs 1,086 million to School Management Committee in current fiscal year to enhance the educational capacity of the schools
-- Induction of 5,500 new teachers with the help of European Union and World Bank. 30,000 more vacancies to be filled.
-- Provision of Rs 400 million to district government in current year
-- Provision of free text books from Class I to Class X
-- Establishment of Sindh Educational Development Authority
-- Establishment of Sindh Educational Information System
-- Monetary assistance of needy students under Higher Education's Endowment Fund
-- Establishment of Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA)
-- Establishment of Sindh Higher Education Committee 2013
-- Establishment of Sindh University Campus in Larkana
-- Establishment of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Girls Cadet College
-- Establishment of separate directorates for monitoring and evaluation
-- Construction of new buildings of schools and colleges and provision of basic educational facilities in primary and high schools throughout the province
Under annual development programme 2014-15, a budget of more than Rs 10 billion allocated for promotion of education, construction of new schools & colleges and teaching activities throughout province.
