The security forces on Monday foiled a major terror plot by defusing six kilogram bomb and arresting several terrorists in Sadda town of Kurram tribal region. According to the local administration, the explosives were hidden in a thermos. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called for defusing the bomb device. Several suspected terrorists were arrested.
Political authorities have disclosed that terrorists had planned to plant the explosives at Ajab Khan Intersection. Fear and panic gripped the area after the arrest of the terrorists. The investigation of the incident was underway.
