Lean business on grain market

Lean business was business seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday due to lack of fresh buying interest among buyers, dealers said. On the rise side, Irri-9 Sindh shed Rs 100 to Rs 5400-5500 and Irri-6 Sindh old managed to gain Rs 20 to Rs 3650, other types maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds sector, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh New low type picked up Rs 25 to rs 1475 while the inferior variety was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1500, they added. Prices were unchanged on the cereals and grams sides, they added.
