A Balochistan Frontier Corps official was killed and another injured in a blast here in Hazar Ganji area on Thursday. According to police, unidentified armed men had planted remote-controlled explosive device along roadside which went-off as an FC patrolling vehicle passed through. The blast left two FC officials seriously injured besides completely destroying the vehicle.
"One of the injured official succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to hospital", the police said. Heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the area.
