KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak renewed the pledge that for salvation and protection of the country they will even not hesitate from rendering the sacrifice of their lives. Talking to media after flag-hoisting ceremony in connections with 68th Independence Day of Pakistan here in Malik Saad Police Lines, the Chief Minister congratulated the whole nation on the celebration of Independence Day and said they should have to remember the struggle and sacrifices of those elders, who blessed this independence on us.
He paid tributes to all leaders of Pakistan Movement. However, he said the sacrifices rendered by the elders for independence were not honoured and feudal and rulers with vested-interest started massive exploitation of the poor. He said the path of national development was identified rather the rulers for prolonging their rule closed their eyes and accepted every legal and illegal demands of the world powers, which instead of promoting our relations with neighbours further deteriorated. He said the country was pushed to the menace of terrorism and our province becomes frontline of it.
The Chief Minister said today terrorism is not limited to only Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa but the whole country is facing it. He said Independence Day wants the renewal of the resolve and commitment to sacrifice our lives for the protection of the country and allow no effect on its security.
The Chief Minister said PTI plays crucial role in bringing reforms and today not only Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa rather the whole country is being secured from terrorism and international conspiracies. He said August 14 is very important day. He said their party is talking of that new Pakistan where justice will be supreme. About Azadi March, he said the whole province will come out for participation in it. He said they are struggling for the establishment of such kind of new Pakistan where there will be no injustice and all including poor and rich will get equal and immediate justice.
He said Independence Day is important day of our national history for which our elders have rendered big sacrifices and they are carrying this brilliant tradition that will have to support Imran Khan in this practical movement for restoration of real democracy and empowering of poor in the country.
