KP Chief Minister, Pervez Khattak said Accountability Commission would soon start operation which on getting proofs of corruption would put on trial every influential including chief minister. He was addressing different public meetings in Badrashi and Khat Kalley of his home district Nowshera. Others who addressed included MNA Dr Imran Khattak, ex.MPA Liaquat Khattak, Ishaq Khattak, Amjad Azam alias Quaid-e-Azam, Taj-ul-Mulk, Haji Mumtaz Khan and others.
Addressing public meetings in his electoral constituency, he said that the commission will put hands on all those corrupt elements of the past against those proofs have already been collected. He said the standard of those terming their government as failed is corruption and whosoever did so much corruption as successful to that level. But, he said they are considering corruption as curse of Allah Almighty.
The Chief Minister said they have no personal agenda and they want the betterment of the future of people. He said in shape of Imran Khan the poor people have got a well-wisher. He said in case no rigging in polls, then Imran Khan would have become Prime Minister of Pakistan and the whole system would have become subservient to the poor. He said the nation need honest leadership, which is in scarcity in Pakistan. He said basic legislations for provision of relief to the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa have been promulgated. He said the enforcement of laws like Right to Information, Right to Service and Conflicts of Interest will empower the people in real sense and due to the fear of the depositing of fines by the government employee and officials would guarantee timely performing of their duties.
The Chief Minister said the restoration of peace and generation of employment opportunities are part of their future line of action. Under that strategy, he said the province would be made attractive for industrial development and will take effective measures for turning the backwardness of the people into progress and development.
