Flag hoisting ceremony held at KMC

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation's Administrator Rauf Akhtar Faruqui on Thursday hoisted the national flag at a ceremony held at Civic Center to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan. Other senior officials of the KMC were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, KMC Administrator said that Pakistan would remain on global map because it was the gift of the Almighty Allah for the Muslims of the sub-continent. "It was created in the Islam for the Muslims," he said, adding that people should demonstrate unity for prosperity and progress of the country.
