The process of presenting cheques of financial assistance to the government by welfare organisations for IDPs of North Waziristan is continuing. Chairman Akhuwat Foundation Dr Amjad Saqib presented a cheque of financial assistance to Senior Member Board of Revenue Nadeem Ashraf for IDPs.
Speaking on the occasion, Senior Member BoR Nadeem Ashraf said that on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab, distribution of relief items and financial assistance among IDPs was continuing. He said besides a cash amount of Rs 375 million, relief items of more than Rs 160 million had been distributed among IDPs. He said cheques of financial assistance were being deposited in Chief Minister's Relief Fund by various welfare organisations and financial institutions.
