Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) President, Mujib-ur-Rehman Shami and Secretary General Dr Jabbar Khattak strongly condemned the killing of ONLINE News Agency Bureau Chief, Irshad Mastoi, reporter Abdul Rasool Khajak and accountant Mohammad Yousuf at their office at Quetta. They termed it a deep conspiracy to curb the voice of press and demanded of Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch to immediately arrest of culprits.
CPNE demanded of the Balochistan government to make proper arrangements for security and safety of journalists and media houses. They also demanded immediate provision of assistance to the bereaved families.
