A little business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday as most of the participants were on the sidelines due to lack of interest, dealers said. On the rice sector, Irri-9 Sindh low type was unchanged at Rs 5000 while the best variety was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 5500, other items managed to hold the overnight levels, they said.
On the seeds side, castor seeds Lakhra gained Rs 100 to Rs 2200, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was down by Rs 200 to Rs 1280 and the best quality shed Rs 5 to Rs 1320, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and cereals sectors, they said.
