Kia Rio, Sportage not for sale and only for display in Pakistan
Kia Lucky Motors has dismissed reports that it will be launching Kia Rio and Kia Sportage any time soon in Pakistan, putting an end to the rumors that the company is going to launch these products this year.
“It is hereby clarified that the Company has launched Kia Grand Carnival (EX and LX) and Kia Frontier (Frontier and XL), which are being sold at our dealerships in Karachi and Lahore at the moment. Two other KIA products being displayed at our dealership - Kia Rio and Kia Sportage - are just for display at the moment to give customers a feel of different Kia products and to gauge their interests,” stated Kia.
“Kia Rio and Kia Sportage are not part of the company’s product portfolio for sale at the moment. The company will inform its customers at an appropriate time on its models,” added the statement.

Speculations were rife after some local media outlets reported that Kia would be launching its Rio Hatchback in July 2018 at a price bracket of Rs 1.4 million.
