Most of the commodities tended higher on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab picked up Rs 500 to Rs 9750, other items maintained week-end levels, they said. On the grams side, Grams Australia No 1 gained Rs 150 to Rs 4900, grams Australia dall No 2 rose by Rs 200 to Rs 5400, grams 50x50 followed same pattern, picking up 100 to Rs 5100, grams 50x50 dall picked up the same amount to Rs 5500, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type shed Rs 25 to Rs 1250 and the best variety was unchanged at Rs 1300, they added. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
