PepsiCo joined hands with the Beaconhouse School System (BSS) enabling the largest private sector schooling system the exclusive sale of Pepsi products. The agreement was signed by General Manager (Foods), Pepsi Co, Omer Malik and CEO Beaconhouse School System Noor Ud Din Ahmed on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, CEO Noor ud Din Ahmed said that the BSS stretched over 90 schools across the country while 80 of its campuses included cafeterias.
"We at the BSS are delighted to pair-up with PepsiCo which will benefit 65000 students in all four provinces" he said. The agreement also includes the availability of popular food items such as Lays, Kurkure and Cheetos. Addressing the gathering Omer Malik, General Manager (Foods) of Pepsi Co made it a point to mention that PepsiCo was not only interested in promoting its products but will also participate actively in other Co-Curricular activities under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. General Manager Projects, Qamar Zulfiqar of BSS explained that the management had already sent directives to all its campuses informing them about the joint venture with PepsiCo and instructions had been issued in connection with the agreement.-PR
